Bus & Coach Induction Loop Kit
An induction loop system specifically developed for buses and coaches.
The Elite Induction Loop Kit is an audio-frequency induction loop system (AFILS) designed to facilitate communication between of hearing aid users and the bus driver, as well as delivering on-board information directly into their hearing aid device. The system can operate two separate induction loops. One loop is assigned to the cab area to enable communication between the driver and passenger. The other loop is assigned to the saloon area for use with the vehicle’s announcement system. A microphone input is provided for the cab area. A speaker-tap input is provided for the saloon area.

How it works
The Elite Induction Loop Kit captures the driver’s voice via a microphone, or a pre-programmed message from the vehicle’s information system, and transmits it through an amplifier to the hearing loop pad. The hearing loop pad then creates a magnetic field that is received by hearing aids equipped with a tele-coil (t-coil) and switched to the correct setting.
As the kit can operate two loop systems, two separate source sounds can be used on the same system to provide localised hearing loop areas to different sections of the bus.
